Additional Requirements:
Educational qualification is SSC with at least 07 years practical experience in any 100% export oriented composite textile mills.
Responsibilities & Context:
• Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment used in textile manufacturing, such as spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing, boilers, compressors, and utility machinery.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines to ensure minimum downtime.
• Inspect machinery components including bearings, shafts, gears, belts, pulleys, pumps, valves, and replace defective parts as necessary.
• Carry out machine alignment, fitting, overhauling, lubrication, and calibration work.
• Attend emergency machine breakdowns and take immediate corrective action to restore operations.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance instructions.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and report abnormal conditions or recurring issues to supervisors.
• Maintain maintenance records, repair logs, and spare parts usage documentation.
• Ensure proper housekeeping of workshop, tools, and maintenance areas.
• Follow safety procedures, use PPE, and comply with factory safety and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with production and electrical maintenance teams during shutdowns and repairs.
• Assist in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to improve machine efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure availability and proper handling of tools, spare parts, and maintenance consumables.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management related to maintenance operations.
