• Strong technical knowledge with proven success in mechanical engineering.

• Leadership, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.

• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor junior engineers and maintenance staff, managing work schedules and assignments effectively.

• Maintenance Oversight: Oversee planned, preventive, and breakdown maintenance programs; inspect equipment and ensure timely completion of all maintenance tasks.

• Project Coordination: Assist in planning, execution, and scheduling of mechanical projects, coordinating activities and resources to minimize production downtime.

• Operational Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), allocate resources efficiently, and support budget and strategic planning efforts.

• Problem Resolution: Provide technical guidance to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues and equipment failures.

• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all mechanical work and designs comply with company policies, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.

• Design and Development: Utilize CAD and other software to create mechanical designs, prototypes, and detailed engineering drawings.

• Analysis and Testing: Conduct experiments, simulations, and tests to evaluate performance, reliability, and safety.

• Documentation: Prepare technical reports, operational documentation, and summarize manufacturer specifications.
