• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• 1 year of experience in machine design, product development, industrial automation, or manufacturing industries will be an advantage.

• Required Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software and rendering software (e.g. Solidworks, keyshot etc)

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, casting, and assembly will be a plus.

• Understanding of mechanical design principles, material selection, GD&T, and engineering calculations.

• Knowledge on mechanical simulation software (e.g Ansys)

• Ability to prepare engineering documentation and technical reports.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

THiNK Global Limited is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its Mechanical Design & Development team. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, machines, equipment, and product components. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative product development projects, prototype development, testing, and manufacturing support activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems, machines, equipment, and product components.

• Prepare 3D models, manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and BOM (Bill of Materials).

• Perform engineering calculations related to strength, motion, power transmission, structural integrity, and material selection.

• Perform simulation of mechanical parts and assembly.

• Develop prototypes and support testing, validation, and design improvements.

• Prepare technical documentation, manuals, engineering reports, specifications, and standard operating procedures.

• Coordinate with electrical, electronics, software, and production teams during product development.

• Support manufacturing and assembly teams with technical guidance and troubleshooting.

• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, safety requirements, and manufacturability considerations.

• Participate in product cost optimization and value engineering activities.

• Assist in patent documentation, technical presentations, and project reports when required.
