Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Identify and approach new international buyers (EU, USA, UK, Canada, etc.).
∎ Establish strong relationships with new clients, brands, and buying houses.
∎ Analyse market trends to identify new opportunities for product and client development.
∎ Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and virtual buyer meetings to generate leads.
∎ Develop and present company profiles, factory capabilities, and sample lines to potential buyers.
∎ Negotiate costing, delivery timelines, payment terms, and other contract details with buyers.
∎ Act as the primary communication bridge between buyers and the internal teams.
∎ Oversee the sampling process and ensure timely submission of samples (SMS, Proto, Size Set, PP).
∎ Coordinate with the production, planning, and QA teams to meet buyer expectations.
∎ Ensure proper follow-up on order execution and solve any issues proactively.
∎ Prepare accurate cost sheets based on fabric, trims, CM, and other inputs.
∎ Finalise prices in line with market competitiveness and profitability targets.
∎ Set monthly/quarterly business development goals regarding buyer acquisition and order volume.
∎ Maintain a strong database of potential clients and maintain follow-up actions.
∎ Lead and mentor a small merchandising team to support the business development function.
∎ Coordinate with internal departments for smooth order execution and buyer satisfaction.
∎ Maintain detailed records of buyer communication, costing, sampling, and order status.
∎ Submit weekly/monthly reports to management on marketing activities and business pipeline.

∎ Key Responsibilities:
