Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering/Master of Business Administration /Bachelor
Must have preferred 6 months training in Fire Safety & Civil Defense (FSCD)
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional for the role of Assistant Manager – Fire & Safety. The position is responsible for ensuring full compliance with fire safety regulations, supervising the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems, and strengthening workplace safety standards.
Must be capable of RSC/Nirapon Audit handling on Fire & Safety
Strong knowledge of NFPA, BNBC, and RSC standards
Technical expertise in Fire Detection Systems (FDS) and Fire Protection Systems (FPS)
Review and ensure all fire safety designs, materials, and installations comply with BNBC, NFPA, and RSC/buyer requirements
Coordinate with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams and management for proper integration of fire safety systems
Capable RSC CAP preparation & implementation as per RSC/Nirapon guideline.
Should have vast knowledge on fire safety management to ensure fire safety in a big composite Garments/ textile industry.
Must be well familiar with setting up firefighting equipment as per the requirements of the Bangladesh Fire Prevention Act.
Monitor and ensure that the facilities of fire hydrants and fire pumps are adequate and are working properly.
Ensure In-house fire training for Firefighters, Rescuers, new employees, and security personnel.
Ensure monthly Fire & Emergency evacuation drills as per program to be aware of all workers & staff.
Supervise installation of fire protection and detection systems as per approved drawings and specifications
Strong knowledge of RSC/Accord/Alliance safety standards, labour laws, and compliance protocols.
Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations as per Bangladesh labour Law and buyer requirements.
Prepare and update fire safety plans, evacuation maps and emergency response procedures.
Assist in internal, external and buyer audits related to fire and building safety.
Conduct risk assessment on health and safety, occupational health and safety, and fire safety.
Plan and guide management to solve the current existing EHS, occupational, and fire risk hazards. Monitor factory inspections, preventive work, and other departments.
