Additional Requirements:
  • Candidate should have minimum 1 year experience in Marine Industry·

  • Candidates having B.Sc. form BUET will get preference.

  • Sound knowledge on IMO emissions control regulations, Energy requirements, various regional bodies regulations.

  • Good command on writing and speaking in English

  • Practical experience in MS-Word, Excel, Power point, E-mail correspondences



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Manage all aspects of energy optimization management and efficiency for fleet vessels.
  • Ensure vessels are comply with EEXL,EEDI,EEOI,CII and IMO GHG strategy, develop and effective implementation of SEEMP (Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan).
  • Verify day to day various operation of shipboard fuel system and machineries that are consuming different types of fuels and ensure all consummations are justifiable.
  • Conduct initial energy efficiency assessment and identify the areas which should be/are suitable for efficiency improvement.
  • Monitor continuously vessels fuel consumption and compare with sea trial, designed SFOC (Specific Fuel Oil Consumption), identify any deviation & notify respective PIC of Vessels.
  • Evaluate vessel energy performance and report about fleet performance to Technical Head/Higher Management.
  • Conduct vessels specific study for suitable ESD (Energy Saving Device) or EST (Energy Saving Technologies) implementation to keep the integrated CII (Carbon Intensity Indicator) rating.
  • Keep on tracking maritime development regarding alternative energy and planning of adaptation with suitable options for the fleet vessels so that vessels are well comply with the emissions regulation.
  • Monitor Vessel’s Co2, Nox, Sox emissions level and calculation rate on regular basis and keep update the Vessels/Technical Head as well as advise corrective methods for any deviation to compare with target value.
