Experience:

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

• Master’s degree in any discipline

• Master’s Social work, Business Studies, Development Studies are preferred will get preference

• At least 5 years

• Age At most 45 years

• Experience of NGO-related field activities, particularly dealing with cooperative groups and CBOs, is needed

• Strong Training and facilitation skills 

• Competencies to deal with local leaders and conflict resolution    

• Motorcycle driving skills with valid license        

• Competencies to explore business opportunities and ideas       

• Negotiation skills to collaborate with local government and line agencies  

• Good communication skills in Bangla (local dialect preferred)       

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Core functions:

The position is primarily responsible for revitalizing and strengthening RDRS-supported CBOs (Union Federations existing for more than two decades), enabling them to engage in viable economic activities and establish business partnerships with RDRS. These economic activities and partnerships should address the social, economic, and environmental needs of local communities.

Key responsibilities:

• Institutional consolidation and leadership strengthening of the Union Federations

• Identification of viable business opportunities for the Union Federations

• Preparing the Union federations for choosing and initiating business activities

• Promoting business partnership between the Union Federations and RDRS

• Support Union Federations with local resource mobilization and accessing services

• Strengthening relationship between communities, Union Federations and RDRS

• · Establish documentation and a smart reporting system on Union Federations, their IGAs and business partnerships.
