Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Footwear Engineerung
∎ Must have sound managerial experience on footwear production & quality system
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Quality Assurance/ Quality Control
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee the evaluation of the finished product for both quality and reliability.
∎ Determine, negotiate and agree on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications.
∎ Leads and coordinates the work flow within the department to ensure product quality.
∎ Assesse customer requirements and ensure that those are met accordingly.
∎ Monitor factory qc performance and solve and communicate quality related problems.
∎ Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level.
∎ Specify quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers and ensure quality when received.
∎ Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data.
∎ Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems.
∎ Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
∎ Collect and compile statistical quality recommend corrective and preventive actions.
∎ Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
∎ Ensure all tests are done as required.
∎ Monitor all operations that affect quality.
∎ Review current standards and policies.
∎ Ensure all legal standards are met.
∎ Communicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections.
∎ Perform any other task assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Very good experience in quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
∎ Strong experience with implementation of corrective action programs
∎ Sound in product or industry-specific experience
∎ Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases
∎ Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
∎ Solid experience in effective usage of data analysis tools and statistical analysis
∎ Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
∎ Motivated, energetic with a can do attitude
∎ Ability to work under huge pressure and meet the deadline
∎ Certifications will be an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma.
