Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee and manage daily operations of the cutting department for footwear production.
∎ Ensure precise and efficient cutting of leather/synthetic materials as per design and production specifications.
∎ Supervise and guide cutting team members to ensure quality and productivity targets are met.
∎ Collaborate with design, sample, and production teams to ensure feasibility and consistency.
∎ Implement and monitor SOPs, safety standards, and quality control measures.
∎ Ensure minimal material wastage through effective planning and execution.
∎ Maintain and troubleshoot cutting machinery and tools to ensure uninterrupted operations.
∎ Train and mentor junior staff and cutting operators.
∎ Prepare production reports and provide feedback to senior management for continuous improvement.
