Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Having PGD in Supply Chain will be preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
supply chain management, Yarn Sourcing
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the yarn procurement department.
∎ Controlling of the total chain works from order placing to shipment and in-house of the factory
∎ Regular work with store department and report on safety stock
∎ Strong communication with the suppliers in home and abroad
∎ Must be updated about the current price of yarn in national and international market for an authenticated costing
∎ Closely work with the suppliers and others so that yarn must in house on schedule time.
∎ On time activities must be done such as order placing, PI collection, LC opening, Shipment etc.
∎ Daily report on the status /position/location of the total running/current orders
∎ Follow-up, supervise and monitor the team.
∎ Reviewing and implementing the procurement strategy.
∎ Developing systems of control, policies and procedures relating to procurement.
∎ Adopt and implement the procurement policies to cope with national and international market
∎ Reviewing existing contracts and identifying opportunities for improved value for money.
∎ Define and manage key supplier relationships to deliver breakthrough performance in cost, service and quality including technical support.
∎ Reviewing existing vendor's performances and find out potential vendor to ensure the better service
∎ Providing guidance to relevant staff in all procurement matters
∎ Establish, manage and improve warehousing and logistics processes and procedures.
