CIPLC is stepping into Bangladesh's solar rooftop revolution and is building a new business vertical in the renewable energy sector.

The Team Lead – Solar Rooftop will lead the end-to-end development of rooftop solar EPC projects ranging from 50 kW to 5 MW. This role combines technical leadership in solar PV engineering with business development expertise to acquire Commercial & Industrial (C&I) clients, manage regulatory approvals, and ensure successful project delivery in compliance with SREDA and Bangladesh net-metering regulations.

The position offers an opportunity to build and lead a multidisciplinary solar rooftop business team while driving sustainable energy solutions across Bangladesh.

Technical Responsibilities

• Conduct rooftop site surveys, shading analysis, and energy yield assessments.

• Design technically viable solar PV systems (50 kW – 5 MW).

• Prepare SLDs, layout drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications in line with SREDA/BPDB standards.

• Evaluate and procure solar modules, inverters, BOS components, and monitoring equipment.

• Ensure BSTI certification and warranty compliance before procurement approval.

• Lead installation, commissioning, performance ratio (PR) testing, and net-meter setup.

• Ensure compliance with IEC standards, BNBC, and CIPLC EHS requirements.

• Develop preventive maintenance (O&M) schedules and monitor system performance after project handover.

Business Development Responsibilities

• Identify and convert Commercial & Industrial (C&I) clients including RMG, Textile, Pharmaceutical, Cold Storage, Hospital, and Corporate sectors.

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals including energy yield forecasts, ROI analysis, and electricity cost-saving projections.

• Maintain monthly business pipeline targets and client engagement activities.

• Monitor market trends, tariff revisions, and renewable energy policy updates.

Regulatory Responsibilities

• Lead SREDA licensing and net-metering applications.

• Coordinate BPDB, DESCO, DPDC, and other utility approvals.

• Maintain compliance with BSTI regulations and Bangladesh Renewable Energy policies.

Leadership & Reporting

• Build and lead a team of Solar Engineers, Site Supervisors, and Business Development Executives.

• Define KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews.

• Develop SOPs for site assessment, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.

• Prepare monthly reports covering sales pipeline, project progress, revenue forecast, cost performance, and market outlook.
