Position: Senior Developer Engineer

Work Location: Uttara, Dhaka
Employment Type: On-site
Team: Product / Engineering
Collaboration: Japan & Bangladesh Engineering Teams

Working Days: Monday - Friday ( Saturday and Sunday weekly off)

Working Hours - 8:00 Am - 5:00 PM ( Including 1 hour Lunch Break)

About the Role

LifeArk is looking for an experienced Senior Developer Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development experience, a product-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with engineering teams across Japan and Bangladesh.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of software development experience with full-stack technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, and MySQL.

• Experience building software using AI coding/development tools, including Claude Code.

• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines and ensuring code quality.

• Experience working with cloud infrastructure or serverless architectures.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative development environment.

• Excellent English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop web applications as part of a multinational engineering team.

• Build modern frontend applications using Sveltekit and TypeScript.

• Work on end-to-end development across backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure.

• Develop and manage serverless applications on AWS, including Lambda.

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines for software quality and deployment.

• Collaborate directly with the Japan-based engineering team in English.

• Contribute to product development, technical decisions, and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, ECS, and CloudWatch.

• Experience with Docker and GitHub Actions.

• Experience developing SaaS or scalable web services.

• Experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub, Copilot and Claude.
