Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead overall civil construction planning and execution to ensure delivery in line with approved scope, schedule, and quality benchmarks.

  • Direct and control site teams, contractors, and supervisors to maintain disciplined execution and consistent productivity.

  • Coordinate with consultants and cross-functional departments to resolve design, technical, and execution-related issues effectively.

  • Review and approve construction methodologies and work programs to optimize sequencing, resource utilization, and risk mitigation.

  • Monitor project performance, cost trends, and progress reports to achieve timely corrective action and management alignment.

  • Enforce quality assurance and compliance requirements to ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

  • Oversee material planning, procurement coordination, and consumption to control cost, minimize wastage, and prevent shortages.

  • Evaluate contractor performance, measurements, and billing submissions to ensure accuracy, fairness, and budget discipline.

  • Identify project risks, constraints, and potential delays to implement preventive and corrective measures proactively.

  • Lead site safety management and statutory compliance to minimize accidents, liabilities, and operational disruptions.

  • Prepare detailed technical reports, progress summaries, and executive updates to support senior management decision-making.

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, consultants, and external stakeholders to obtain approvals, inspections, and clearances in a timely manner.
