Job Summary

A reputed group of companies is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Manager – Sample to lead the sample development process and ensure timely execution aligned with buyer requirements, quality standards, and production feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

Sample Development & Management

• Lead end-to-end sample development activities from order confirmation to approval.

• Coordinate with merchandising, design, production, and technical teams for smooth sample execution.

• Ensure accurate interpretation of tech packs, buyer comments, and product specifications.

• Monitor sample timelines to meet buyer deadlines and shipment schedules.

Operational Coordination

• Plan and allocate workload among sample room teams.

• Follow up on fabric, trims, accessories, and pattern readiness.

• Maintain close communication with merchandising and production departments.

• Ensure sample readiness for buyer meetings, fittings, and approvals.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all samples meet required quality standards and buyer expectations.

• Review fitting comments and implement corrective actions.

• Maintain proper documentation of sample revisions and approvals.

Team Leadership

• Supervise sample room staff including pattern masters, cutters, operators, and helpers.

• Train and develop team members to improve efficiency and productivity.

• Maintain discipline, safety, and operational efficiency in the sample section.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for reducing sample lead time.

• Implement cost-effective and efficient sampling procedures.

• Support innovation in product development and construction techniques.
