Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Candidates who have textile background & Technical training or certification from any reputed institution for the relevant job field will be given preference
∎ Skills Required: Dyeing quality, Quality Assurance/ Quality Control, Quality Control Assurance, Quality Control Management
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
4 to 5 years in the relevant position, All kinds of Garments (KnitWovenSweater)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Able to self-start and work independently with buyers to ensure quality assurance activities including quality control/audit, inline inspection, pre-final and final inspection.
∎ Maintain all the details of the garment orders from the preventive stage of material & garment sample development, basic lab testing and it's required tools/equipment, fabric inspection penalty points/system used, cutting, printing/embroidery, sewing, several types of wet & dry washing, finishing, packing, mold preventive control, pre-final and required final inspection.
∎ Develop the quality controlling procedure, rules, and regulations for achieving the quality of the garments in the whole factory.
∎ Make sure Inline & End line Quality, Appearance, Measurements & Clerical Works are maintained.
∎ Provide technical assistance to all sections wherever applicable in order to achieve customer's quality standard, i.e. line set up, machinery adoption, production methods, work-aid, QC/QA system.
∎ Gathering reference approved swatch samples as to color/shade conformity.
∎ Ensure Bulk fabric shade continuity, GSM, shrinkage, color fastness standard testing and other buyer lab testing requirements, etc.
∎ Get a reference from the buyer's approved sewing/finishing/packing trims/materials and include it on the trim cards.
∎ Size set submission from factories, pre-production meetings (checking all necessary information details/focus areas) & trial production.
∎ Solve Fabric / trims issues, production actual status both garment required processing issues, garment quality issues, sub-contracting without approval issues, etc.
∎ Fit / PPS submission from factories and pre-approved by liaison office QA Managers / Team Leaders and buyer's head office final approval/comments to take note.
∎ Coordinate with buyer representative in inspection, audit matters & Bulk fabrics inspection reports if within buyer's standard penalty points / square yards.
∎ Coordinate with Production, Planning, Merchandising, Finishing & other related departments.
∎ Reduce garments defects and make an action plan analyzing the problem, and solve the quality issues & innovatively establish Zero defects in the factories.
∎ Ensure all QA staff are trained on any new procedure/requirement as advised by the customers.
∎ Must complete any other assignment given by the top management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least a 5-year experience as a "Manager-QC & QA" in a Knit Garments factory
∎ Strong Knowledge in Knit Garments Manufacturing Processes, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, etc.
∎ Good communication skills in both English and Bengali.
∎ Good skills in Computer.
∎ Strong leadership and team management skills.
∎ Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of quality control methods and practices including AQL levels and other prevailing international standards.
∎ Good team player, well-organized, initiative, and detail-oriented.
