We are hiring for the position of Manager - Production on behalf of a renowned Japanese Multinational Company operating in the manufacturing sector. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing factory operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely production delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the production team - including operators, technicians, line leaders, supervisors & staff management.

• Production planning and scheduling, resource allocation, quality control, safety compliance, continuous improvement initiatives and communication with other departments.

• Monitor daily production activities and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines and manage unexpected delays.

• Lead and motivate the production, PPC, QC & Engineering team to achieve performance goals.

• Monitor production progress against schedules and identify potential bottlenecks or delays.

• Optimize production workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.

• Generate operational progress report; calculating raw materials, factory supplies, chemicals & utilities consumption.

• Understanding of process optimization tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.

• Monitor KPIs, analyze performance data, and report progress to senior management.

• Train and develop subordinates/team members on technical, Safety & management sciences.

• Conduct annual Appraisal, set KRA/KPI and continuous follow up team to achieve KRA.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations strategy with business goals.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) from any reputed Public University.

• Minimum 08 - 10 years of experience in a manufacturing factory, especially in MNC Garments/Textile or FMCG sector.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/SAP/IBM Business Solution.

• Strong communication skills in Bengali and English.

BDT 80,000 – 90,000 (Gross)
