Responsibilities & Context:
1. Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with business goals, enhancing production continuity and supporting growth.
2. Identify, evaluate, and manage both local and international suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
3. Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, building relationships to secure competitive and sustainable supplier agreements.
4. Establish and enforce procurement policies to standardize sourcing, purchasing, and compliance processes.
5. Oversee customs documentation, import/export regulations, and adherence to industry standards, including VAT, NBR, and customs requirements.
6. Develop risk management strategies to ensure supply chain continuity and proactively minimize disruptions.
7. Collaborate with production, logistics, and warehousing teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, avoiding stockouts or excess inventory.
8. Coordinate material movement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and avoid disruptions.
9. Partner with Production, Operations, Quality Control, Finance, and other relevant teams to align procurement with company goals.
