Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline from any recognised university with second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations

Experience Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop 'Empowering the RMG workers living in urban slums of Dhaka' project's partnership strategy and plan for partnership management referral system development
∎ Ensure formal partnerships and MOUs with RMG factories, BGMEA, BKMEA, Textile Mills Association of Bangladesh
∎ Network and liaise with private, national and multi-national RMG industries for the job placement of the skilled labor and ensured partnership for referral services
∎ Maintain coordination with related BRAC programmes to ensure coordinated service delivery by one stop service centre (OSSC)
∎ Develop partnership with the BRAC institute of global development to provide training for local government officials, Maya Apa app for online services, DPS with BRAC Microfinance and health insurance providers for sustainable hybrid insurance of RMG workers
∎ Dialogue/ roundtable discussion at the town and national level with organising learning, sharing workshops at the national level
∎ Disseminate success and failure stories. Develop policy brief and try to build multi stake partnerships for BRIDGE affiliation
∎ Develop partnership mechanism between the landlords and Urban Development Programme, so that they can also get potential tenants for their house
∎ Maintain communication and network with relevant stakeholders at local, national and international levels
∎ Assist the M&E team to develop appropriate indicators and monitoring tools to monitor and evaluate partnership and job matching system
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Minimum 3 years of working experience is required
∎ Sound knowledge about the private sector engagement, business inclusion, policy compliance issues of RMG sectors, labor rights and law, policy advocacy in the area of RMG sector
∎ Sound knowledge about the national and international laws, regulations about labor rights as well as compliance issue
∎ Understanding of the RMG sector development scenario and challenges in the context of Bangladesh
∎ Ability to communicate, negotiate and develop relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
∎ Excellent skills of communication and presentation, documentation, reporting and facilitation
