Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To lead, manage and supervise Field Operations of Livestock Insurance project to implement all sorts of project activities as per project management plan.
∎ To engage and actively supervise the activity of respective Field Coordinators & Extension officers under Microfinance operation.
∎ To conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' livestock insurance requirements, risk exposures, and budget constraints.
∎ Assist in designing suitable products by conducting assessments of smallholder farmers.
∎ To train and guide field officers and Microfinance operation team on product specifics, sales, and customer service techniques. Foster a collaborative team environment focused on problem-solving and innovation.
∎ To monitor insurance premium collection, reporting, and auditing processes to maintain accurate financial records.
∎ To ensure timely and efficient processing of insurance claims, working closely with claims teams.
∎ To oversee project progress, regularly track performance, perform field visits, and check-in with field staff for further improvement.
∎ To attain and ensure service excellence in quality through implementation of standards and controls, systems and procedures and regular evaluation.
∎ To maintain strong coordination with Microfinance field operations team, BRAC internal program (e.g., BRAC AI, UPG, IDP, CCP) & external diverse stakeholders (e.g., donors, insurers, regulators, development & financial institutions, technical partners, etc.) and clients.
∎ To develop manuals and training materials for delivery, marketing, administration, and monitoring of agriculture insurance products.
∎ To prepare progress reports and necessary documents at regular basis.
∎ To take new initiatives regarding non-life insurance Innovation as assigned.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. Behaving in a manner consistent with BRAC’s brand, values, and protocols.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ Job Purpose
∎ The role is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to promote livestock insurance and other related products and services within a BRAC Microfinance operation territory. This role involves building relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored insurance or other package solutions in collaboration with different insurance companies and relevant BRAC’s internal program.
∎ Key Responsibilities
