Experience:
Bar Council enrolment preferred.
Experience in the apparel, corporate, commercial, or industrial sector preferred.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proactive approach with strong decision-making capability.
Sound understanding of the regulatory environment in Bangladesh.
Contract drafting and negotiation skills.
Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law.
Provide legal advice on business operations, contracts, and regulatory matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Ensure compliance with local laws, company governance standards (BEPZA), and internal policies.
Liaise with external legal counsel, government authorities, and regulatory bodies when required with Country Director’s approval.
Handle filings, licenses, permits, and statutory documentation.
Manage and monitor legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Support dispute resolution, litigation, and legal proceedings as required.
Develop and implement compliance frameworks and awareness programmes.
Advise on legal implications of strategic decisions.
Maintain proper documentation and legal records.
Support communication on legal and regulatory matters (if applicable).
