A Master’s degree (LLM) will be considered an added advantage.

Additional Requirements:
  • Age 34 to 38 years
  • Bar Council enrolment preferred.

  • Experience in the apparel, corporate, commercial, or industrial sector preferred.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Proactive approach with strong decision-making capability.

  • Sound understanding of the regulatory environment in Bangladesh.

  • Contract drafting and negotiation skills.

  • Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Provide legal advice on business operations, contracts, and regulatory matters.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.

  • Ensure compliance with local laws, company governance standards (BEPZA), and internal policies.

  • Liaise with external legal counsel, government authorities, and regulatory bodies when required with Country Director’s approval.

  • Handle filings, licenses, permits, and statutory documentation.

  • Manage and monitor legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Support dispute resolution, litigation, and legal proceedings as required.

  • Develop and implement compliance frameworks and awareness programmes.

  • Advise on legal implications of strategic decisions.

  • Maintain proper documentation and legal records.

  • Support communication on legal and regulatory matters (if applicable).
