Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape executive communication, translating decisions into clear messages for staff at all levels.
∎ Support planning and executing internal and external communication campaigns.
∎ Lead advocacy and social change campaigns to raise awareness and drive impact.
∎ Manage crisis communications by coordinating with programmes and ensuring BRAC’s actions are effectively shared.
∎ Enhance dignified storytelling skills, focusing on Southern Development-aligned approaches.
∎ Assess the effectiveness of communication processes, ensuring they meet leadership and staff needs while collaborating with the external communications team for consistent messaging.
∎ Promote a communication culture by training BRAC staff on effective methods, including social media, photography, video, blogging, and safeguarding.
∎ Job Purpose
∎ The Manager, Leadership Communication and Employee Engagement will lead internal communications at BRAC to align with strategic goals and support change management. This role also involves enhancing leadership visibility and engagement, managing crisis communications, and fostering a strong sense of belonging by promoting transparency, consistency, and organizational values among staff.
∎ Key Responsibilities
∎ Collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape executive communication, translating decisions into clear messages for staff at all levels.
∎ Support planning and executing internal and external communication campaigns.
∎ Lead advocacy and social change campaigns to raise awareness and drive impact.

∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
