Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's in any discipline from recognised university with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in academic examinations. Candidates having O and A level will get preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing concept notes and project proposals with other BRAC WASH colleagues
∎ Producing materials for documenting the programme and publishing them through various platforms for the wider audience
∎ Find out proper channel of fund raising in coordination with respective management
∎ Ensure to prepare articles, blog, case studies etc to be published in various platforms.
∎ Writing donor reports in collaboration with the Operations unit and Monitoring unit
∎ Collaborating to initiate innovative projects for the programme
∎ Conducting small research studies for the programme to provide evidence for programme decision-making
∎ Ensure an effectively functioning Innovation and Knowledge Management Unit
∎ Coordination and collaboration with the BRAC WASH Communications unit
∎ Knowledge sharing and transfer on BRAC WASH programme within and outside BRAC
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 05 years' experience in the development sector especially in proposal development and Fund raising
∎ Comprehensive knowledge of the development sector, especially on WASH and overall public health sector
∎ Knowledge of Bangladesh geographic, socio-economic, political context, etc.
∎ Excellent skills in negotiation and donor reporting
∎ Proficient in written and oral communication skills both in Bangla and English
∎ Strong analytical ability with able to handle critical situation
∎ Strong leadership and team management skills
∎ Excellent ICT skills including MS Office (particularly Word and Excel, Power Point)
