Job Responsibilities:
∎ Resource mobilisation for migration programme and facilitate migration team and the projects to take part in the process, work with donor liaison office and other relevant forums of BRAC
∎ Develop fund raising strategy for migration programme and projects and continuously improve the effectiveness of existing fundraising operations by developing existing and new fundraising products, initiatives and events
∎ Coordinate and support annual planning process that enables all teams to articulate, feasible and high quality plans and programmes which are consistent with the organisation's vision, values and donor contracted deliverables
∎ Support teams in developing, updating and implementing its strategic plan
∎ Develop and manage an annual budget for specific learning activities expenditure
∎ Develop concept note and project proposal Independently and participate in the bidding process for fund raising as per needs
∎ Identification and acquisition of grants and donations from government departments, individual donors and the corporate sector
∎ Design a comprehensive knowledge management and dissemination strategy/ framework for Migration programme, work with the central KM and M&E unit of BRAC
∎ Develop Knowledge Management plan for the project/s and ensure sharing/ process documentation internally and externally
∎ Design short, medium and long term learning initiatives during the programme, support the project related studies (baseline, mid- term and end line etc.)
∎ Work closely with the team to align data collection, Knowledge Management and analysis with learning outcomes
∎ Support programme to conduct and initiate migration related studies for programme development, identify the potential gaps, and optimum utilization of resources through enriching existing intervention
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years' experience at programme development, fundraising, donor strategies, functions and international relations. Need to have experience on developing and writing project proposals to aid agencies and negotiating with government and donors at all level
∎ Sound knowledge on participatory project development and budgeting
∎ Good understanding of organisational knowledge management
∎ Analytical and strategic planning skills.
∎ Proven numeracy and financial management skills.
∎ Proven influencing and negotiating skills with internal and external audiences.
∎ Good written and spoken English
∎ Experience of producing proposals and reports for a variety of donors
∎ Developing fund raising strategy and initiatives
∎ Should have in-depth information of the databases maintained by the organization
∎ Need to have good communications skills and expert planning skills
∎ Should be able to transform the ideas of management and implement appropriate solutions in the organisation
∎ Good analysing skills and ability to tackle critical situations
∎ Ability to maintain work relationships with the employees of all level
