Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT support service.
∎ Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
∎ Monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying and addressing any vulnerabilities or issues.Oversee the configuration, installation, and maintenance of network equipment and software.
∎ Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
∎ Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, resolving network and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
∎ Address technical challenges and manage system updates effectively.
∎ Perform regular compliance checks to meet information security standards.
∎ Configure, maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN to rectify any network deficiencies or to enhance network performance.
∎ Provide IT Support Service & IT System Management (Installing and Managing Windows-7,8,10, 11 and Windows server-2012/2016 R2.)
∎ Install, configure & maintain computer (Desktop/Laptop) hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners and other IT appliances.
∎ Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems including anti-virus.Develop, maintain and support website/ web portals/content management systems.
∎ Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with access issues on necessary systems.
∎ Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures.
∎ Ensure data integrity and security across all IT systems.
∎ Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve IT infrastructure.
∎ Provide technical assistance to the Procurement team regarding IT equipment procurement.
∎ Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure network equipment, software, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
∎ Manage, update and troubleshoot the organizatio’s security surveillance and access control system.
∎ Monitor performance of information technology systems to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
∎ Monitor and report on IT performance metrics.
∎ Manage ITrelatedtechnical issues and provide solutions promptly.
∎ Prepare and maintain documentation related to network architecture, configurations, support procedures, and user guidelines.
∎ Maintain IT asset register, inventory and transfer process.Performing any other duties as and when required by the BLAST management and in line with BLAST’s mission and vision.
∎ Position Overview: BLAST seeks qualified, experienced Staff Lawyers for Head Office. An information technology manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technology infrastructure to ensure smooth operation of day-to-day IT related services of the organization. IT manager will ensure the security, efficiency, and scalability of computer systems and networks. He/she is responsible for bridge between technology and business goals, using expertise to optimize operations, improving cybersecurity, and driving innovation. Whether it’s upgrading systems, providing technical support, leading IT activities aligning strategies.
