Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters/ MBA preferably in Human Resource Management/ Business Studies or any other relevant field from any recognised university/ institution with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in academic examinations.
∎ Candidates having PGD in HRM will get preference.

∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Safeguarding:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design, develop and maintain C&B policies and procedures as well as lead and direct budget and payroll team of HCMP
∎ Ensure end to end strategy formulation, execution, and management of salary issues e.g. increment, and adjustment of the assigned programmme
∎ Provide technical and general guidance to payroll team for effective payroll process
∎ Review and validate personnel budget of every project before submission to donors.
∎ Maintain a budget tracker of programme support staff and generate reports accordingly
∎ Contribute to JRP, salary budget amendment as per the programme need
∎ Participate in different training, meeting and forums on C&B, OD, Payroll and budget issues and HR policy and procedures.
∎ Assist SMT and HRD to design, direct and manage an Organisation development that addresses issues such as succession planning, workforce development, employee retention, Organisation design, and change management etc.
∎ Identify and monitor the Organisation's culture that is aligned with the Organisational goals, mission, vision and promotes employee satisfaction

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience is required. Candidates having experience in the field of emergency response programme in similar role will be preferred.
∎ Commitment to an understanding of BRAC core values and principles
∎ Have sound knowledge on Human Resource, Budget and Payroll, Organisational Development, Bangladesh labor law etc.
∎ Demonstrated experience in HR Compliance and Donor Auditing
∎ Excellent skills in strategic communication, stakeholder management and negotiation
∎ Have effective acquaintance with people management
∎ Ability to think strategically and carry out assigned tasks independently
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft programs i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint etc.
