Job Context :

A leading plastic manufacturing company is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented Manager – Factory Operations to oversee and manage overall factory operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production flow, operational efficiency, manpower management, quality compliance, and timely delivery of finished goods.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and control overall factory operations to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

• Prepare and implement production plans based on market demand and sales forecasts.

• Ensure smooth operation of plastic manufacturing processes including Injection Molding, Extrusion, and Blow Molding.

• Monitor production activities of uPVC Pipe & Fittings, Plastic Household Products, and Plastic Furniture.

• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.

• Control raw material consumption and reduce wastage/scrap percentage.

• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Store, Quality, and Commercial departments for smooth factory operations.

• Monitor machine efficiency, productivity, and minimize operational downtime.

• Ensure product quality as per company standards and customer requirements.

• Maintain production inventory and monitor raw material stock for uninterrupted production.

• Prepare monthly production reports, capacity planning, and performance analysis for management review.

• Implement process improvement initiatives like Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.

• Ensure workplace safety, PPE compliance, and environmental standards.

• Lead, train, supervise, and evaluate supervisors, operators, and factory staff.

• Ensure discipline, compliance, and implementation of company policies and SOPs.

• Identify operational challenges and take corrective actions for continuous improvement.
