Proficient in MS Office and construction/project management software
Solid understanding of construction methods, materials and project management principles
Knowledge of quality, health and safety standards
PMP or equivalent certification is an added advantage
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent planning, coordination and decision-making ability
Effective communication, negotiation and stakeholder management
Responsibilities & Context:
Collaborate with engineers, architects and consultants to define project specifications and requirements
Develop detailed project management and construction schedules for new builds, restoration or refurbishment projects
Work closely with senior management and stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective and high-quality project delivery
Estimate and plan resource needs including manpower, equipment and materials while maintaining budgetary control
Oversee all construction operations, scheduling intermediate phases to meet deadlines
Hire, assign, and supervise contractors, technicians and laborers, ensuring clear communication and direction
Track progress, evaluate performance and prepare detailed status reports
Enforce compliance with quality, environmental and health & safety regulations
Identify risks and propose corrective actions to maintain smooth project execution
