Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage overall field operation of Char and Community Clinic project under BRAC Health Programme (BHP).
∎ Maintain liaison between management level and field operation for planning and effective operation at field.
∎ Monitor performance of relevant project staff to improve capacity and competency through mentoring, coaching and on-the-job training as and when required.
∎ Check, verify and update all financial and administrative recording and proceedings at head office level including updating all files and registers; checking the bill/voucher; account checks for miscoding; audit compliance etc.
∎ Conduct staff meeting at district and for performance review and provide guidance inputs for optimum achievement.
∎ Undertake inventory and verify physical status of logistics with stock register and channelize the logistic chain in the district.
∎ Maintain liaison with outside stakeholders including government official, private and partner and community leaders.
∎ Responsible for staff recruitment, performance appraisal and capacity development.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
∎ The Char-based Healthcare with Remote Maternal Services (CHARMS) initiative, launched by the BRAC Health Program, is designed to deliver vital healthcare services to remote and hard-to-access riverine islands, referred to as chars. This project prioritizes improving the health and well-being of residents, with a strong focus on maternal and newborn health, while also providing quality care for individuals with non-communicable diseases (NCDs) through the use of modern health technologies.
