Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Social Science especially in Sociology/ Social work/ Gender studies/ Psychology/ Anthropology from reputed university with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.00 in all academic examinations

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead in developing the operational plan and budget in line with organisational gender need and BRAC gender strategy
∎ Analyse organisational context and deliver solutions to support the BRAC gender strategy and drive gender responsive performance
∎ Create gender responsive institutional system and mechanism throughout the organisation to promote gender responsive work environment
∎ Analyse training modalities, innovate ideas, generate new knowledge and lead capacity development plan for BRAC staff to promote gender equality, VAWC and climate change adaptation
∎ Lead advance level gender training, learning visits including internal and external for capacity development of GJ&D and partner programme staff
∎ Ensure proactive response to information and reporting needs by the line management and management of partner programme/ department in relation to the BRAC gender strategy
∎ Facilitate gender responsive institutional system and mechanism that women and men in BRAC have equal opportunities for participation, personal growth, professional advancement and contribution towards the organisation's mission and vision
∎ Lead and address the BGS goals related to organisation that focused on harassment free congenial work environment and bringing more women staff at mid-level management
∎ Facilitate and manage gender climate survey, perception survey and gender audit to assess gender responsive organisational culture and report to BRAC management
∎ Review policies and structure of the organisation as per organisational need
∎ Coordinate the Gender Focal Point platform at HO and build their capacities to advocate for gender equality
∎ Support Monitoring and Evaluation and Knowledge Management team to ensure result tracking of Gender responsive work environment action and other need based action
∎ Provide technical advice, direction and support to Zonal Manager and Senior Sector Specialist and Sector Specialist to achieve impact on gender and women empowerment through trainings and capacity development of staff
∎ Organise quarterly learning sharing meeting with team to execute capacity development plan
∎ Strategic oversight of planning, budgeting, implementing and monitoring of the capacity development programme, tracking use of financial resources in accordance with BRAC rules and regulations and of capacity building expected outcomes in line with programme expectations
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the safeguarding goals while acting as a key source of support, guidance and expertise for establishing a safe working environment in accordance to its reporting procedures. Practice, promote, encourage and endorse the safeguarding policy and implementation standards among team members in case of any reportable incident

Additional Requirements:
∎ Have experiences in Gender mainstreaming in Organisational Development
∎ Experience in develop and review policies
∎ Expertise in developing Capacity Development approaches
∎ Skills in designing ODU result tracking mechanism
∎ Capacity to address organisational work environment issues
∎ Experience and/ or capacity as a trainer/ facilitator
∎ Experience in field supervision and staff management and budget management
∎ Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in and with teams and cross-cultural sensitivity
∎ Skills in development of gender sensitive training modules and materials
