Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters / Bachelors in Business Administration / Engineering from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division / class or equivalent GPA / CGPA in all academic examinations

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure business development, strategize sales and sales marketing operational support to make sure the proper implementation of the Institution based Training as well as overall Formal Skills Development Sector (donor funded and cost recovery)
∎ Independently write proposals for Donor and Government funded projects, CSR projects, Partnership based projects etc.
∎ Proactively identify fundraising opportunities for the BRAC Institute of Skills Development (BRAC-ISD) and develop business plans, proposals, tender documents etc. accordingly
∎ Supervise, follow- up and oversee the overall sales and marketing activities of designated projects through regular field visits and provide necessary support for further improvement
∎ Ensure effectives sales & marketing operation of BRAC-ISD and Formal Skills Development Sector
∎ Ensure incentive based learner collection approach for internal & external stakeholders and yearly learner collection target (donor funded and cost recovery) by fulfilling quarterly trade wise admission
∎ Develop sustainable partnership with different NGOs, TVET institutions, Polytechnic Colleges across the country for conducting training and ensuring continuous flow of students for BRAC-ISD admission
∎ Identify network building mechanism with local and overseas employer for BRAC-ISD graduates and ensure decent employment opportunities for them
∎ Ensure effective promotional work as per requirement and develop strategies and interventions to contribute towards the branding, image building and marketing of BRAC-ISD as well as to attain international accreditation
∎ Ensure participation of BRAC-ISD in major trade fairs & employment fairs across the country
∎ Identify district wise specific trades, which BRAC-ISD can operate either with own funding or with sustainable partnership modality
∎ Ensure development of effective website of BRAC-ISD as well as maintenance of customer engagement by undertaking regular activities of BRAC-ISD's Facebook page
∎ Meet with major stakeholders from all over the country on regular basis for the purpose of business development and make partnership with different associations to facilitate both student collection and job placement
∎ Ensure awareness of campaigns at different civil construction training sites as well as other sites to generate mass awareness (especially for free training funded by the Government)
∎ Coordinate among all the units and prepare monthly reports and other required reports as requested by the Programme Head
∎ Provide Intelligence & insights from Terrowork platform
∎ Safeguarding Responsibilities:
∎ Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 05 years' of relevant work experience in any reputed commercial / development organization with experience on proposal writing and fund raising for Government and donor funded projects
∎ Understanding of NGO sector and economic and social context of the country
∎ Firm knowledge on project management and incentive mechanisms
∎ Strong networking and communication skills
∎ Well versed in corporate communications and dealing with Government officials, marketers, public affairs and/or in other related fields
∎ Must have excellent writing skills in both English and Bangla
∎ Must have excellent negotiation and presentation skills
∎ Should be able to supervise and manage team
∎ Should possess ability to think critically and analytically
∎ Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
