Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Education (M.Ed)
∎ Post Graduate PG Diploma (or MBA equivalent)/ Post Graduate in Rural Management/ Rural Development/Statistics/Economics/CSR/ Master's degree (or higher) in relevant field (e.g., energy, sustainability, environment, engineering, business).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work across Bangladesh landscape in ESG/CSR and Social development sector across cross sectoral social/development sector thematic areas like health, education, WASH, skill development, livelihood, environment etc.
∎ Good understanding of concepts of Net Zero, Decarbonization, Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), Carbon neutrality, Water neutrality concepts and experience on the same
∎ Expertise to provide technical knowledge in preparing proposals and reports.
∎ Knowledge of latest ESG/CSR concepts to be able to hold client discussions.
∎ Lead engagements and business development across the market sectors in Bangladesh
∎ Undertake project activities across a range of projects including research, analytical data review, evidence collection, site/client office visits and report preparation and review
∎ Working with cross sectoral teams, research agencies, multiple corporate/Govt clients on knowledge management & project management advisory assignments
∎ Act as focal points for client communications and maintain relationship with them
∎ Work with team and ensure quality control, participating in workshops, contribute in providing key insights and ideas for client deliverables and business development.
∎ Identifying business opportunities and potential to contribute towards practice development.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Eight to ten years' experience focused on Sustainability Disciplines with strong experience in Non-financial reporting/ strategy development / on social development/research
∎ Understanding of CSR rules/ESG requirements in Bangladesh and experience on the same
∎ Social sector project implementation, monitoring & evaluation experience
∎ Good networking & liaison skills
∎ Experience of strong business development skills
∎ Knowledge management & capacity building
∎ Strong Research & analytical skills
∎ Good verbal and written proficiency in English and Bangla
∎ Ability to work effectively in a team environment
