Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Production Planning & Execution Assist in developing and implementing daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
∎ Ensure the availability of resources including manpower, materials, and machinery.
∎ Monitor production progress to meet delivery deadlines and productivity targets.
∎ Quality Assurance & Control Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all products meet established quality standards.
∎ Conduct in-process quality checks and support the implementation of quality control procedures.
∎ Identify deviations, assist in root cause analysis, and contribute to corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
∎ Participate in internal audits and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
∎ Promote a culture of quality awareness across the production floor.
∎ Process Improvement Analyze current production processes to identify inefficiencies.
∎ Recommend and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
∎ Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
∎ Communication & Collaboration Liaise with cross-functional teams including planning, procurement, maintenance, sales, and finance.
∎ Maintain clear and effective communication to ensure alignment of production goals.
∎ Participate in departmental meetings and share updates.
∎ Cross-Functional Coordination Act as a bridge between the Production and Quality departments to ensure seamless workflow and quality compliance.
∎ Support the alignment of production targets with quality standards, ensuring both efficiency and compliance.
∎ Collaborate in troubleshooting and resolving production-quality related challenges.
∎ Facilitate feedback loops between both teams to drive improvements in both processes and product quality.
∎ Data Analysis & Reporting Collect and analyze production and quality data to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
∎ Prepare operational and quality reports for management.
∎ Use data to support decision-making, trend analysis, and process enhancements.
∎ Training & Development Engage in structured training modules focused on production and quality operations.
∎ Shadow experienced managers and quality officers to gain practical knowledge and insights.
∎ Participate in evaluations and feedback sessions for continuous development.
∎ We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Trainee Officer to join our Production/Quality team. This entry-level position is designed to prepare high-potential individuals for future leadership roles in production and operations management. The MTO will undergo structured training and hands-on experience across various facets of the production process to develop a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing operations.
