Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's or Bachelor's in Business Administration (Major in Supply Chain)/ Diploma in Supply Chain or any other relevant subject from any recognised university
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure all logistics supports and commodities transactions from warehouse to food distribution point
∎ Prepare logistics and commodity delivery plan based on food distribution plan for smoothly dispatching food to all distribution point (DP)
∎ Maintain a consolidate records for all Distribution Points and warehouses, which give the stock information on round basis
∎ Assist in providing warehouse and logistics training to Logistics Associates as and when necessary
∎ Produce a report of the cost analysis which needs to be shared with supervisor and management
∎ Ensure all mechanisms and tools for stock ledger, stack card and reconciliation of receipt and dispatch of commodities
∎ Prepare logistics and lifting plans of commodities and submit to donor and all DPs
∎ Supervise all Logistics Assistants and Tally Clerks so as to accomplish objectives linked with logistics support to GFD
∎ Check and review all bills related with transport and labor handling
∎ Ensure all way bill documentation and preservation
∎ Keep contact with donor Logistics and all Distribution point staffs
∎ Arrange physical count of all commodities at Distribution Points and share reports
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achievethe programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years of work experience in Logistics/ Supply Chain/ Food Distribution Programme in NGO/INGO is required
∎ Have knowledge on planning & implementation, budgeting & reporting
∎ Have ability to analysis complex problems, evaluate alternatives and implement the best one
∎ Complete assignments with minimal supervision
∎ Meet deadlines, and work independently within established guidelines
∎ Excellent knowledge in MS Office Programmes
∎ Excellent knowledge skill in English & Bangla
