Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To define and drive innovative automated testing strategies and tool sets into our overall Quality Assurance processes that support and enhance the current processes
∎ To design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
∎ To review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
∎ To estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
∎ To Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
∎ To perform thorough regression testing using automation script when bugs are resolved
∎ To track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
∎ To ensure that all tests are executed and give regular feedback to the team lead on the status of quality
∎ To mentor team members on automation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 4 to 6 years of working experience on software quality assurance thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes.
∎ Proven work experience in UI & Functional automation testing, Integration testing of APIs, Performance and scalability testing, Security Penetration Testing.
∎ Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
∎ Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using a variety of technologies including, but not limited to Selenium, Cucumber etc.
∎ Proficient working with relational databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL/EDB.
∎ The ability to maintain effectiveness in a rapidly changing environment and the willingness to respond quickly and positively to change.
