Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS with Masters in Public Health (MPH) from any recognised university/institution
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the process of developing yearly health plan consistent with the overall BRAC strategy
∎ Oversee and ensure the smooth capitalization and restructuring health programmes of HCMP
∎ Coordinate with all health sectors in government, UN and NGOs at district and sub-districts level cluster management
∎ Provide technical support to the health team to ensure implementation of strategy, approach and standard
∎ Review MIS and provide feedback to the health team
∎ Take initiative in raising fund, developing proposal, resulting frame work and budgeting
∎ Ensure reporting for donors, government, UN agencies and other stakeholders on regular basis
∎ Provide guidance and support to maintain Quality and Accountability
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years of work experience in Health and Nutrition Programme especially in NGO/INGO is required. Candidates with experience in Emergency Programme are highly encouraged to apply.
∎ Commitment to an understanding of BRAC core values and principles
∎ Have competency to work independently with minimum supervision
∎ Have effective acquaintance with People Management
∎ Have a good understanding and command in health and nutrition knowledge
∎ Have excellent competency in Preparing Project Proposal, Concept Notes, Budget and Budgetary Control
∎ Have excellent report writing skill
∎ Have excellent monitoring and evaluation skill
∎ Willing to travel and stay in the field
∎ Able to work effectively in a culturally diverse organization
∎ Have excellent knowledge on Office Applications
∎ Have a good command in writing and speaking English
