Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate / Post graduate in Fashion Design.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should have the capabilities of leadership & team management.
∎ Establish and enhance long-term business relationship with buyers through excellent design works and practice
∎ Excellent knowledge about the fabrics, colors, season & trend forecast.
∎ Must research the market trends both (previous & current), theme, techniques and product via open sources and take inspiration from the world around you to create latest designs.
∎ To be decide on fabrics, colors and patterns, produce sample designs and adjust them until its perfect.
∎ Should be creative, innovative & flair, think out of box and generate ideas & concepts.
∎ Should have Excellent organizational and communication skills.
∎ Oversee design process from conception through to final styling.
∎ Will work as given with specifications relating to color, fabric, budget & developing samples as per buyer's tech packs.
∎ Visualizing a designing idea/concept as per the current trend analysis sketching rough and detailed drawings of design using computer-aided designs (CAD) and by hands, and mentioning the specifications like color combinations, use of fabric, material type, process of details designing, and accessory requirements for further reference.
∎ As Leader of team, have to overview of a group of people, motivates, gives instruction and monitor performance
∎ Will be responsible for designing, developing product range for men and womenswear.
∎ Must ensure that the brand is consistently offering trendy and quality products to its customers and be up to date with international fashion trends.
∎ Collaborate with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to the line, and create new concepts.
∎ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and upcoming fashion trends, noticing the general trend in fabric, color scheme, and shape of the garment, predicting the later advancement in upcoming trends, and developing fashion range accordingly.
∎ Visiting textile showrooms for buying fabrics, new clothing items, and accessories for completing the designs as needed.
∎ Examining the look of sample garments on models, making sure that the designed product matches the age, gender, style and socioeconomic status of target consumers and modifying and redesigning the garments (if any).
∎ Ensure compliance with company guidelines and design standards.
∎ Ability to multitask.
∎ You have to serve as Lead Designer & maintain the Designing Team accordingly.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 7-12 year(s) in relevant field.
∎ Candidates having Degree on Designing sector and having professional experience in Graphic Design/fashion design will get preference.
∎ Candidate having previous work experience with European buyers will get Priority most.
∎ Candidates has to bring their portfolio both in hard copy & softcopy (In pen drive).
Salary: Negotiable
