Experience:
LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. degree from any reputed University.
Enrolment with the Bangladesh Bar Council will be an added advantage.
Training in Banking Laws, financial crime, or Asset recovery is desirable.
5-10 years of experience in legal recovery, litigation, loan recovery within a Bank/Financial Institution.
Hands-on experience in execution of court decrees, warrants, attachment and auction of mortgaged properties and taking over the possession of Bank’s owned property and recall the warrant through court.
Experience in dealing with Classified Loans (NPLs).
Strong understanding of legal documentation and court procedures.
Competent on litigation management, court liaison and co-ordination.
Strong networking skills with external stakeholders.
Ability to work beyond normal office hours when required.
Knowledge on regulatory guidelines on loan recovery and classified loans.
Ability to travel extensively, conduct site inspections, co-ordinate with local authorities and ability to manage difficult recovery situation.
Effective communication skills with Court, Law enforcement agencies, Lawyers, Government Offices and others.

Key Responsibilities:
• Take necessary step to forward the Order of Warrant of Arrest from the concerned court to the concerned Police Station timely.
• Collect the present address of the Customer from SAMD.
• Pursue the concerned police station for execution of Warrant by arresting the customer.
• Follow up the customer(s) at his/their present address/available address with the help of concern RM from SAMD so that it can be shared with the Police.
• To take all necessary actions for taking over possession of the scheduled property, including liaison with the Bailiff, Police Stations and Magistrate.
• Engage and supervise labors; arranging transportation; printing, preparing and displaying signboards on the scheduled property; and procuring red cloth, locks and any other materials required for the execution and completion of the possession process.
• Take immediate action to recall warrants upon settlement of the loan account(s).
• Take all necessary steps to execute the Warrant(s) pending for execution as well as to take over the possession of the properties vested with title & possession u/s-33(7) & (5) respectively of Artha Rin Adalat Ain, 2003 and on behalf of the Bank through Court of Law.
• Report the update status of the warrant execution & asset recovery of the Bank to the competent authority.
• To perform other duties as and when assigned by the Head of Legal Division & Management.
