- Minimum 8 years of experience in any reputed bank preferably with 3 years of experience in similar role with excellent clientele base for Corporate, SME & Retail Business
- Experience of working in a centralized process and real time on-line banking environment is preferable
- Strong knowledge of Branch Operations, General Banking, Lending Operations & Credit Management, and Foreign Trade Operations is required
- Well conversant with Bank Companies Act, Partnership Act, Bangladesh Artha Rin Adalat, AML Act, Negotiable Instrument Act, Regulatory Guidelines, respective job-related Laws and acts etc.
- Excellent business communication skills with effective sales acumen and strong interpersonal relationship
- Sufficient skills to operate Microsoft Office Applications/Banking software
Responsibilities & Context:
Develop and execute the Branch business plan in alignment with the Bank’s strategic objectives, ensuring sustainable growth in deposits, advances, fee-based income and overall branch profitability.
Drive business development and customer acquisition by strengthening existing relationships, procuring deposits, generating new business opportunities and achieving assigned asset and liability targets.
Lead and coordinate with centralized functions and relevant Head Office Divisions including Credit Risk Management, Credit Administration, Corporate Business, Trade Finance, Operations and other support functions to ensure timely execution of business and seamless customer service.
Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day branch operations and deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining operational efficiency, service standards and customer satisfaction.
Lead, and manage the Branch team to achieve individual and collective targets, foster a performance-driven culture, ensure effective utilization of resources and support employees’ professional development.
Ensure effective compliance, risk management and internal controls at the Branch, including adherence to regulatory requirements, AML/CFT guidelines, Bank policies and procedures, while proactively identifying and mitigating operational and business risks.
