Responsibilities & Context:
Process, scrutinize, and execute day-to-day Import, Export, Bank Guarantee, and Foreign Remittance (inward/outward) transactions in strict compliance with foreign exchange guidelines, national trade policies, and international regulations.
Ensure strict adherence to GFET, UCP 600, ISBP, URC 522, URR 725, Import & Export Policy Orders, Incoterms, and SWIFT message standards while actively mitigating operational risks.
Prepare and submit accurate periodic statements, returns, and MIS to Bangladesh Bank and Head Office within stipulated deadlines.
Coordinate internal, external, and regulatory audits, including comprehensive inspections by regulators pertaining to the foreign trade portfolio.
Conduct periodic field visits to exporter factories and business premises to verify operational authenticity and ensure client activities align with national laws.
Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Business Development units to commercialize trade services, handle client queries, and generate incremental revenue.
