• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with no 3rd division or class in any academic record. Candidates with LL.B. / LL.M. will be given preference.

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in recovery or collection within a bank or financial institution.

• Familiarity with recovery-related regulations (e.g., Artha Rin Adalat Ain, Negotiable Instruments Act) is desirable.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to operate independently in field environments.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications and report writing.

• Follow up with defaulter clients and guarantors through regular calls, visits and negotiation, including litigated clients inside and outside Dhaka, to ensure timely collection and recovery of overdue amounts, NPLs and receivables as per targets.

• Analyze the portfolio and segregate client status for bad debt classification, with emphasis on written-off collection.

• Trace untraceable clients and conduct field verification, reporting findings to management.

• Serve overdue notices to clients and guarantors as per internal policy and Bangladesh Bank (BB) guidelines.

• Identify assets of defaulted clients, locate mortgaged properties, and assist in repossession and sale of leased/mortgaged assets.

• Support the Legal Department in litigation, including case file preparation, arrest warrant execution and court order execution with law enforcement agencies.

• Keep up to date on client background, receivable details, case status and all correspondence with clients.

• Prepare and maintain recovery MIS and departmental reports, submitting them on time.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and laws.

• Maintain liaison with regulators, law enforcement authorities, law chambers, recovery agents and other relevant parties.

• Coordinate with branches and business divisions to support recovery drives.

• Perform any other duties assigned by management in the best interest of the bank.
