Experience:
B.Sc and/or M.Sc in Computer Science / Software Engineering, EEE, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a recognized university.

Strong command of distributed systems and microservices architecture, API / middleware and integration platforms (API gateway), and enterprise-grade technology solution delivery.
Deep expertise in cloud, containers (Docker / Kubernetes), CI/CD, DevOps / SRE, high-availability and high-throughput transaction processing, application and data security, and observability / monitoring.
Sound knowledge of Digital Financial Services (DFS), fintech, payment systems, and regulatory requirements is strongly preferred; relevant architecture / cloud certifications are desirable.
Experience Required:
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in software engineering within the ICT, FinTech, Banking, Telecommunications, or Digital Financial Services industry, including at least 5 years in a senior engineering leadership role (Head / Director / VP of Engineering or equivalent) leading multiple teams and enterprise-scale technology delivery.
Proven experience scaling engineering organizations, owning architecture governance, and driving DevOps / CI-CD and platform modernization; MFS / payments / high-volume transaction systems experience strongly preferred.

Advance automation, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps and SRE practices; improve automated test coverage and code quality, and reduce technical debt.
Ensure platforms scale for transaction growth, availability, and resilience, with security-by-design and regulatory compliance.
Drive the Software Engineering, innovation and R&D culture; sponsor proofs-of-concept and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to MFS and fintech.
Own engineering capacity and workforce planning across the two units; attract, develop, mentor, and retain senior engineering talent.
Partner with Technology Governance (SDLC, PMO, vendor, risk), Product, Commercial, and business functions, and manage external vendors and integration partners.
Track and report engineering performance, delivery status, and KPIs to senior management, and drive continuous improvement across the engineering organization.
