Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide technical assistance to end-users experiencing issues with hardware, software, network, or other IT systems.System Monitoring and Maintenance:
∎ Perform routine maintenance, including software updates, patch management and security checks.
∎ Document and track incidents, analyze root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
∎ Work with other IT teams to ensure the timely resolution of major incidents.
∎ Install, configure, and deploy hardware, software, and other IT equipment for new or existing employees.
∎ Set up user accounts, permissions, and access control based on organizational policies.
∎ Support network infrastructure, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
∎ Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices, including antivirus updates, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
∎ Maintain detailed documentation of IT infrastructure, including asset inventories, system configurations, and change logs.
∎ Prepare regular reports on system performance, issues, and resolutions.
∎ Ensure systems and practices comply with relevant standards and regulations.
∎ Help enforce IT policies, including data privacy, acceptable use, and access control.
