• Must have comprehensive expertise in all functions of the Internal Audit Department — including financial audit, operational audit, compliance audit, procurement audit, payroll audit, and inventory audit.

• Must have strong experience in developing risk-based Annual Audit Plans and independently managing the full audit lifecycle from planning to reporting.

• Must possess the ability to lead, build, and mentor an internal audit team and report directly to Senior Management / Board.

• Prior experience in auditing within an RMG / Garments / Manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

• Excellent report writing, analytical thinking, and presentation skills.

• High level of integrity, objectivity, and professional ethics.

• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.

Fakir Knitwears Ltd., one of Bangladesh's leading knitwear and garment manufacturing conglomerates, is looking for a highly experienced and competent professional for the position of Sr. Manager – Internal Audit at its Narayanganj head office. The incumbent will be responsible for leading the entire Internal Audit function of the organization — planning, executing, and reporting on all audit activities across manufacturing, finance, procurement, HR, and compliance. This is a senior leadership role demanding deep expertise in all aspects of internal audit operations within the RMG and industrial sector. The right candidate must be capable of building and managing an effective audit team, driving process improvements, and ensuring organizational integrity at all levels.

• Lead and manage the entire Internal Audit Department — planning, organizing, and supervising all audit activities across the organization.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Annual Audit Plan (risk-based) covering all business units, departments, and processes of Fakir Knitwears Ltd.

• Conduct financial, operational, compliance, and process audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management systems, and governance frameworks.

• Examine and verify financial records, accounting entries, vouchers, bank statements, cash flows, and trial balances to detect irregularities or fraud.

• Audit procurement processes, including purchase orders, vendor payments, stock receipts, and inventory management, to ensure compliance and prevent misappropriation.

• Review payroll, HR records, attendance, OT calculations, and benefit disbursements for accuracy and compliance with labor laws.

• Conduct factory-floor operational audits covering production efficiency, raw material consumption, waste management, and costing accuracy.

• Assess compliance with applicable laws, regulations, buyer codes of conduct, and internal company policies.

• Prepare and present detailed Audit Reports with findings, risk ratings, root cause analysis, and actionable recommendations to Senior Management and the Board.

• Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective action plans by respective departments.

• Conduct surprise/spot audits and special investigations as directed by management or the Board of Directors.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as and when required.

• Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal control frameworks for all key business processes.

• Maintain and update audit documentation, working papers, audit trails, and evidence files in a systematic and retrievable manner.

• Train, mentor, and develop junior audit team members; build a high-performing internal audit function.
