Responsibilities & Context:
  • Accounting & SAP Administration: Maintain and administer company accounts, cash and bank transactions, cash flow statements, and daily bank reconciliations through SAP.

  • Vendor Accounting & Payment Processing: Record vendor bills, payment vouchers, and related accounting entries accurately and ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.

  • Payment Verification & Expense Analysis: Verify payments against supporting bills and documents, analyze the nature and appropriateness of expenses, and ensure operational cost efficiency.

  • Landed Cost & Product Costing: Accurately calculate landed and product costs, incorporating freight/shipping, insurance, customs duties and taxes, port charges, factory overheads, administrative overheads, and other relevant costs.

  • Cash & Cheque Collection: Collect customer cash and cheques and ensure timely deposit into the designated company bank accounts with proper documentation.

  • Receivables & Payables Management: Monitor accounts receivable and payable balances, ensure timely follow-up and settlement, and maintain accurate records of the company’s financial relationships.

  • Inventory Audit & Control: Conduct periodic physical inventory audits at assigned factory/business locations and reconcile physical inventory with SAP records to ensure accuracy and proper inventory control.

  • Fixed Asset Management: Maintain and regularly update the fixed asset register, including additions, transfers, disposals, and periodic depreciation, ensuring proper accounting and asset control.

  • Month Closing & Financial Reporting: Prepare and close monthly Profit & Loss Accounts in SAP and ensure timely completion of month-end closing activities.

  • Banking: Liaise with bank officials regarding day-to-day banking requirements, fund transfers, documentation, and other banking matters, and ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations.

  • Intercompany Reconciliation: Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant entities to ensure timely resolution and accurate balances.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit various financial and management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and year-end basis, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

  • Management Support: Perform any other finance, accounting, reporting, or analytical assignments as directed by Management.
