∎ Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Design /Fashion & Apparel Design (From Bangladesh Textile University or any others foreign University/Institute)
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Merchant Exports Ltd is one of the leading foreign buying houses. Representing some of the largest European buyer. To run our business smoothly, we need a "Junior Fashion Designer" for our Dhaka Office.
∎ Work with the Head of Fashion Design to prepare presentations for any client as requested and create new developments
∎ Supporting both garment and textile's teams during meeting with clients.
∎ Work closely with our sample section
∎ Managing SLG Showroom display and fabric library room.
∎ Design any type of garment ranging from tops to bottoms for Men and Kids.
∎ Lead fittings and work closely with sample section team to follow up developments execution step by step.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Graphics, CLO 3D, Corel Draw, Microsoft PowerPoint
∎ Garments, Textile
∎ Experience with washes, construction, fabrications, and treatments.
∎ Good sense of color is required.
∎ Textile technical knowledge a must.
∎ Speak English fluently.
∎ Strong communications skills and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to establish good relationships with our clients especially buyers and sourcing managers.
∎ Must have a good knowledge of fabric.
∎ Must have strong sketching abilities.
∎ Problem-solving

∎ Teamwork
∎ Ability to multi-task and works well in a fast paced environment.
