Meghna Re-Rolling and Steel Mills Limited (MRSML), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries, is establishing a top-notch steel factory in Bangladesh with the latest European technologies and machinery, having an annual production capacity of 1.5 million MT. The vision of this concern is to produce world-class re-rolling products and billets to meet the growing demand in the local market and to contribute significantly to economic growth through exports around the globe. To achieve this goal, we are seeking dynamic, self-motivated, and technically sound Junior Engineers. The incumbents will be responsible for field-oriented stand & guide assembly-disassembly, inspection and error rectification in due time, maintaining standards to support the smooth running of Rolling Mill production. This position is critical in driving reliability, cost reduction and continuous improvement within the rolling mill.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure safety of both manpower and equipment by strictly following company safety policies, SOPs, and risk assessments to prevent accidents and ensure uninterrupted operations.
Coordinate all shop-floor activities of stand and guide assembly by actively engaging with team members to maintain smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
Assemble stands and guides within standard time by adhering to SOPs, work instructions, and best practices to support continuous rolling mill production.
Conduct thorough inspection of assembled cartridges and guides using standard checking procedures to ensure readiness and avoid operational failures.
Inspect incoming components from machine shop and stores by verifying quality and condition to prevent the use of defective materials in production.
Prepare stands and guides for mill operation and section changeover by ensuring proper setup and timely shifting to the mill floor to minimize downtime.
Collect performance feedback from mill floor personnel and implement corrective actions through troubleshooting and adjustments to reduce breakdown time during production.
Perform complete servicing and precision assembly of cartridges, guides, bearings, and TC rings by ensuring correct fitting, load zone setting, and axial play to maintain equipment reliability.
Maintain critical parameters such as bearing condition, lubrication, temperature, and cooling water systems by regular inspection to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Maintain proper documentation, spare parts planning, and team development by updating logbooks, managing critical spares, providing on-the-job training, and ensuring housekeeping to support continuous improvement and operational discipline.
