• Understanding of VFDs, industrial motors, and power distribution systems.

• Experience with Rolling Mill equipment (Reheating Furnace, RM drives, motors) will be given preference.

• Skilled in electrical troubleshooting.

• Must have a willingness and mindset to work in the field.

To achieve this goal, we are seeking dynamic, self-motivated, and technically sound Junior Engineers. The incumbent will play a critical role within the Rolling Mill department, ensuring that all electrical and automation systems operate reliably to support continuous steel production. Working in a fast-paced industrial environment, the engineer must handle complex electrical equipment such as PLCs, VFDs, motors, and sensors that control the rolling process.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the Electrical & Automation systems by monitoring equipment performance and performing routine checks to ensure continuous and efficient rolling mill operations.

• Work hands-on with PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and control panels by programming, adjusting, and repairing them to automate processes and improve production accuracy.

• Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns by diagnosing faults using technical tools and methods to quickly restore system functionality and reduce downtime.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance by inspecting and repairing electrical components regularly to avoid unexpected failures and extend equipment life.

• Follow electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams precisely when installing or repairing systems to ensure safety and compliance with engineering standards.

• Coordinate with Production and Mechanical teams by communicating effectively to plan maintenance and resolve operational issues promptly, minimizing production interruptions.

• Adhere strictly to electrical safety rules and company SOPs to protect personnel and equipment, maintaining a safe workplace environment.
