Responsibilities & Context:

Meghna Pulp and Paper Mills Ltd. (MPPML) one of the sister concerns of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) which involves in producing stationaries and hygiene products (e.g. Tissue Products, Paper, Baby Diaper, Baby Wipes, Sanitary Napkin). Currently, we are looking some proactive junior engineers who will be tasked with conducting daily mechanical maintenance activities for both the boiler & CO2 systems. The incumbent will report to the functional head for the daily duties and responsibilities.

  • Check, maintain, and report daily production reports, record detailed log sheets for CO2, Boiler, and Compressor operations, and monitor all activities to ensure equipment operates in sound, vibration-free, and clear conditions.

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on boilers and CO2 plant to identify and address potential issues.

  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions or breakdowns in boiler systems, such as leaks, faulty valves, or pressure irregularities to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.

  • Perform regular cleaning and servicing of boilers to remove scale, sediment, and other debris that may affect performance.

  • Monitor and adjust fuel consumption and water levels to optimize efficiency and minimize energy wastage.

  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs performed on all boilers following company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate repairs and shutdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

  • Inspect and follow rules and regulation, quality of works standard of safety and work cleanliness.
