Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job Context: We are one of the largest 100% export oriented Knit Garments Manufacturer, looking for a dynamic& highly potential professional as a Jr. Executive / Executive - procurement department (Knit Garments).
∎ This position will be responsible for overall activities related to the procurement of raw materials, packing materials, hardware, tools, parts, IT and safety equipment items (General Procurements).
∎ Receive indents from the user. Sourcing quality products or raw materials for actual requirements.
∎ Collect Price from different vendors or suppliers for preparation of comparative statement (CS).
∎ Manage quotations from potential suppliers and evaluate offers & prepare CS.
∎ Negotiate and finalize supplier agreements. Facilitate the purchase process through the ERP system.
∎ Follow up on the delivery process and ensure timely delivery.
∎ Receiving bills from suppliers, processing bills properly & ensuring supplier's payment. New source development.
∎ Maintain updated records of purchased products, quality specifications, price trends, delivery information, stock levels, etc.
∎ Daily checking of PR/Indent and taking action accordingly. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly purchase reports.
∎ Collect challans/ MRR from the concern store. Prepare bills & Submit to accounts department for on time payment.
∎ Follow-up regularly with accounts department for on time fund release in order to ensure smooth supply. Regular visit to the market to find new vendors & to get actual price of the materials.
∎ Ensure efficient procurement according to SOP.
