Responsibilities & Context:
Orion Consultech is looking for Jacquard Designer to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.
Design and develop intricate woven textile patterns using Jacquard weaving techniques and CAD software such as ATA, Textronics, or ArahWeave. Translate artistic concepts and customer requirements into technically feasible textile designs compatible with Jacquard looms. Collaborate closely with product development, merchandising, and manufacturing teams to ensure design viability and production readiness. Create accurate loom cards and weave structures to guide loom operations during sample development and bulk production. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, maintaining quality, innovation, and adherence to timelines. Conduct fabric testing and adjustments based on weaving outputs to achieve the desired look, feel, and performance. Stay up to date with global design trends, new weaving techniques, and textile innovations to maintain competitive design standards.
